1. Just wondering where you got the doll torso. I am in Australia. Can you buy it online.

      Hi Mandy,
I bought it from a craft store. But Amazon carries almost everything under the sun. Just search for doll cake topper.

  2. I love this idea, I do a doll cake every year for my granddaughter. I think I might add some support to this cake, maybe thin wooden rods like I do in my wedding cakes. Can’t wait to try this, thanks so much

  6. Your mannequin cake is gorgeous! I love it! My mom is a tailor/seamstress and has a mannequin in her shop, her birthday is coming up in July. I’m going to definitely make this cake for her! Thanks for the great instructions.

  7. Beautiful cake!! Can you please tell me the exact sizes of all the pans that you used for this cake?

      Hi Deana,

Here are the measurements based on the widest points:

      8 inches
      6 1/2 inches
      6 inches
      3 1/2 inches
      3 inches
      2 1/2 inches

For this particular cake, I ended up not using one of the smaller layers. Also the smallest at 2 1/4″ is actually a tart mold. So the number of layers you use will depend on the kind of dress you want to make.
